TAIREncodes CIB5 (cryptochrome-interacting basic-helix-loop-helix). Related to CIB1 (AT4G34530). CIB5 interacts with CRY2 and forms heterodimer with CIB1 in vitro. Regulates flowering time redundantly with CIB1.
UniProtTranscriptional activator involved in cell elongation. Regulates the expression of a subset of genes involved in cell expansion by binding to the G-box motif.
